The following recommendations are a result of years of searching for the best and cheapest solutions available on the internet. These are the same services I recommend to all my clients. Please note that although I can not personally guarantee the results of using these services, these are the ones my clients and I have had the best luck using over the years.

Domain Name and Hosting Company

Although there are hundreds of places on the internet that will provide you with a free domain name and hosting, I highly recommend against using one of these providers. Why?  Because these types of free services truly limit what you can do with your website. In addition, when using their free domain names you will end up with a domain name that indicates to your visitors and the search engines that you are NOT a serious website by having a domain name like http://www.angelfire.com/yt3/bowling/ .

In other words, these free services give you a sub-domain which includes the name of the hosting company. In addition, most of these free services will require you to display ads for their services on YOUR website (that's why they are giving you the domain name and hosting for free). Not very professional!!

Here's what I recommend. For as little as $8.95 per YEAR you can register your own domain name that looks like www.yourdomainname.com AND you can actually get hosting for as little as $1 per month.  The best place that I have found to do this at these tiny prices is http://www.hostica.com . In other words, for an investment of $25 a YEAR you can have your own professional set up for your site that will serve your needs for many years to come. And most of all you will have no limitations on what you can implement and/or change on your site.

Credit Card Processing and Merchant Accounts

If you are going to sell anything on your site, it's going to be imperative that you have the ability to accept credit cards.  If you're not going to be able to accept credit cards, then I suggest that you don't even bother creating the site. Yes! It's that important!

If you don't already have a merchant account and you want the cheapest and easiest way to accept credit cards, I recommend setting up a Premier account with Paypal.  There is absolutely NO set up charges and the transaction fees are actually cheaper then most regular merchant accounts. Autoresponder and Email List Management

If you are going to need a fully automated autoresponder to automatically respond to people signing up for your newsletter or opt-in, I highly recommend that you click here.
